Where i spent my day this weekend

Yeah..Malaysia Book Fair is back!!

For all books lover, this is d event tht we shld not miss out.
started from 2day till last of sunday next week, u'll get so much time to look 4 ur books.

ive been there during my lunch time. im so xcited seing all those books.
there are many booth been set up. d books came in all varieties. magazines, comics, reference books for school kids, motivational books, novels etc.

wish my sist n nephews were here also. sure they gonna luv 2c all the books offered.

so,2morrow im gonna hv my 2nd trip 2 d fair. i rather choose 2 come alone. so tht i can hv as much time n feel free in selecting d books. coming along with friends somehow can cause u trouble when they r missing to nowhere. in fact, different ppl hv their own interest. so its not easy 2 get along.

aha! let c how much i spent 4 this fair.

My OJT experience..

well..sedar x sdar its already 1 month ive gone through with my OJT.
time is running so fast. looking back right from the beginning, i wld say ive done nothing.
everyday is d same. i just sitting there njoy d time as much as i like. surfing d net, hv a chit chat with my colleague. sometimes it makes me bored. but i am more grateful 4 there r no task given 2 me.

so wht i like most abt my work place? huurmm..

• geographically...i luv d location. its not too far from my house. 2 reach there, it only requires me to take a Rapid bus. cost 2 ringgit per day (go n return using d same ticket). it is more convenient than taking a train where crowded people disallow u even 2 breath!
• structurally...my office is cool. i'll post some of d pict later in d end. my desk is located just outside of ur boss's room. of course, he can see me right through since there was only a wall of glass separated.
• socially...all d staff is Ok, nice. there were only 6 (including boss) permanent workers. but there r 3 other practical stdnts. its not difficult 2 mingle since all of them are malay. my boss is very sporting. A doctorate yet very humble, nice, single n supportive.
• timely...u r not too "terikat". work start at 8 since it is half of govmnt body. coming late is still un4given. but moderate..dont misused d advntge. u can start ur work in anytime. after u finish ur brkfast. theres a corner in there where everybody can lepak at d sofa n makan. basic needs like junk food r prepared by d company. dont b shy 2 finish it. time 2 go home start at 5. but normally they r all stay back n layan d intrnet.
• freely...yup its my luck bcoz when i start my OJT there, they were in a period of having IT training 2 other deprtment. so d gd thing abt it was..our deprtment can hv "makan free" served by catering. startd from brkfast, lunch, tea time. it last abt 3 weeks. so knyang everyday. save budget..
• routinely...like i said earlier i done nothing everyday. d pressure is 0. just sitting there, answer d phone if its needed, understand d system. only just abt d past few days, after i complained 2 my boss tht i hv nothing 2 do then he decided 2 give me a task. a simple task where i hv 2 develop a system 4 d office user. quite simple though, but d hardest thing is it shld perform PHP language. smthg which i hv not learn at all b4. my boss realize it. but he advised me to take d challenge as a part of learning. it might b beneficial 4 me in d future. just feel free 2 ask anything related. he'll guide me till i succeed.
• lastly..wht more i can say. i am happy to hv an experience OJT in tht place. but since everything is in malay, i dont really think it is best 4 me. coz all this long i am trying harder 2 b gd in english.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul; we've split the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less; we plan more, but accomplish less.

We've learned to rush, but not to wait; we have higher incomes, but, lower morals.
We build more computers to hold more information to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication; We've become long on quantity, but short on quality.

These are the days of two incomes, but more divorce; of fancier houses, but broken homes.
These are the days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throw away morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. Where are we heading ....?

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family an unwise investment indeed.

So what is the morale of the story????

Don't work too hard... and you know what's the full word of family?

The Desert Royal..

Halluuuu..

This time around i want 2 share an interesting story book called, Desert Royal. as seen in picture author by Jean Sasson. actually one of my closest friend had lent it to me. since he found tht im too passionate with d hobby of reading, so in no time i will grab whtever books tht come 2 me.

ive spent abt 2 days 2 finish reading it. i must say tht reading d story makes me so amazed. I felt so fascinated with the story line. u know Y? coz d story actually is based on a true experience of a royal princess in saudi arabia, known as "Sultana". d book not only covers abt d life of a royal. but also highlighted issues such poverty,human/sex slave,woman's emancipation,islamic law,exploitation n so forth.

wht ive learned through the story - i felt so grateful 2b born as a woman here in malaysia.where there is always a room 2b heard, treated nicely by men, hv an oppurtunity as equal 2 men, we're not simply labeled as sex pleasure only.n d most important thing,we r FREE n Independent.

it was really an eye-opener when i read this book. coz rarely we find a story tht tells abt ppl who live in d middle east country.i really had a great time with d book. thanx 2 my dearest friend who approached it 2 me.

perhaps its not my day..

well..u c..this is my score a day b4 the real tournament. i got 113-105-117. my bowl run smoothly during tht day. so njoy n i felt so relax. unfortunately, this doesnt happened this morning at the CCSP bowling tournament. guess im not performed very well, the way tht i can b. u know, when its come 4 tournament u'll sense another atmosphere. theres comes the tension, competing...everybody is concerntrate looking at ur game. coz u r partnership with the very well known ppl - mr mus.


poor me. only the 1st game i score more thn hundreds. started from 2nd game my game bcame worst. i lose my concerntration, my mood. just throw the ball 2 finish the game. so sorry 4 mr mus. although im not perform better he kept motivate me till the end.

n i bet,if is not bcoz of him..of course it is no chance 4 our team 2b listed as the "3rd highest score team" among others. really thankful 2 my teammate. u hv covered me up,man..


a big clap 4 ur winning on the "men 1st highest score". u hv proven to all,mate..congratz!!~

bowling time..

been practising skills on bowl. all 4 the upcoming tournament. im sure it wld b great event coz so far ive heard so many contestant r participating. will there by any chance my team gonna make it 2 the top winner? the prizes shld not b wasteful 2 b taken. whtever tht is..the most importnt thing is being 2gether, hv fun. probably its gonna b the last time. coz after this every1 will be separated doing their own OJT.
so,common guys..come out n play!!~


p/s : not bad,kam..recalling those days when ur score was only below 50.
but things gettin` better.n see..u r sitting at the same level of ur coach.
just strive 4 the "strike".hihi..
